In the film “42,” Linc Hand plays Fritz Ostermueller, a veteran pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates who isn’t happy about Jackie Robinson breaking baseball’s color barrier. While Hand plays a bad guy in the movie, he was anything but bad guy Friday morning while visiting patients at Children’s on 3rd Outpatient Center in Birmingham. . . .

The Linc Hand Scholarship for 2013 Awarded to Alexis Gravlee.
Linc is very proud to have a scholarship for acting in his name from his hometown Corner High School to help benefit young actors and actresses in the CORNER THEATRE Academy. Linc says, “Dreams can come true if you find a way to do hard things." Linc is also an alumnus of University of North Alabama. Read about the first scholarship recipient. |
